Bomb blast kills excise officer

PESHAWAR: As a result of bomb blast, excise officer was killed on Saturday at Peshawar’s Daudzai Takhatabad road, DawnNews reported.

According to the sources, bomb exploded outside the house of excise officer located at Takhatabad road.

The explosive device was planted outside Khaista Mai residence, which exploded during the early hours of Saturday morning, killing the excise officer on the spot.

According to the sources of excise police, the killed officer was posted at Haripur.
