CHINIOT, Dec 8: At least 1,300 bottles of liquor were recovered late Friday night from a house in Muhallah Moazzam Shah.

City police headed by SHO Usman Warraich on a tip-off that drug pusher Ahmed Bhatti had a stock of huge quantity of liquor for sale on Eid day raided his house.

After a search, police recovered 1,300 bottles of liquor from its basement. However, the drug pusher managed to escape from the scene.

A case has been registered against the accused.
