14 caught cheating in SSC exam

KARACHI, April 12: In total 14 candidates were caught cheating in SSC examinations at various centres on Thursday, while another seven were detected impersonating candidates at two other centres.

According to the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Karachi, the directorate of private schools had written a letter to the board requesting that private schools where candidate impersonation had taken place be de-registered.

A joint team of Board and private school directorates, including Rafia Mallah and Dr Mansoob Siddiqui, on Thursday visited three centres in Keamari town and detected six cases of dishonest activity at two centres - Govt Boys Secondary School Jackson Road and Govt Boys Secondary School Shireen Jinnah Colony.

Two more cases were found at KPT Girls Secondary School, while another three candidates were caught cheating at NJV School.

A special vigilance team detected another such candidate at CMI School, Shah Faisal Colony.

A BSE press release said that six impersonators were detected at Govt Boys Secondary School, Landhi-1. Another impersonator was caught at Decent Model School, Baldia Town.
