Hashmi for withdrawal of bounty on Hafiz Saeed

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) central leader Mukhdoom Javed Hashmi on Friday said that the US should withdraw bounty announced on Hafiz Saeed and Dr Abdur Rehman Makki.

The PTI leader also said that suspension of the Nato supplies has stirred new controversy in the country.

Addressing a demonstration in support of Jamaat-ud-Dawaa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed and Abdur Rehman Makki here at the Clock Tower chowk, he said that the country was already facing a dilemma due to agreements made by Gen. Pervez Musharraf.

He demanded the government not to restore Nato supply route.

He said the American rulers due to their ill-conceived policies were wasting tax payers’ money on an unnecessary war.

District amir JuD Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar, DBA president Hafiz Allah Dittah Kashif, JI leader Professor Iftikhar, representative of Power looms Association Mohammad Yousuf Ansaari, Mian Abdullah and other local leaders were also present on the occassion.
