Country heading towards anarchy, warns JUI-F

SHIKARPUR, April 1: The general secretary of JUI-F Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, has said the government appears to be least concerned about the law and order situation, which is now assuming the level of anarchy.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the Maulana blamed allies of the government and some other political parties for the bloodshed and unrest in Karachi.

Their leaders get police protection for themselves and leave people of Karachi at the mercy of terrorists and target killers.

The provincial government, he said, was there only in name and the authority was being wielded by the federal government which was running the country o the dictates of foreign donors.

He said it was good that the work of formulating the foreign police had been given to the parliament but criticised the decision to restore Nato supplies and allow foreign agencies to continue to work in the country.

He warned that people would never allow restoration of Nato supplies nor drone attacks.

The Maulana said that people were facing serious problems in Balochistan because of negligence of the authorities.
