LAHORE: An eight-member Pakistani judicial commission, which was in India for investigations of the Mumbai terror attacks, returned disappointed to Pakistan on Thursday, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives at Lahore airport, one member of the delegation Khuwaja Haris expressed dissatisfaction with the assignment and considered it as futile.

He said that the mandate that the commission had taken to India wasn’t achieved due to hindrance by the Indian courts.

We were not granted access to Ajmal Kasab and we were not allowed to cross-question the four witnesses, the commission member added.

Haris said that the reports of the investigation will soon be submitted to the government and to the courts.
