ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday demanded Inspector General (IG) Sindh to submit a report pertaining to the murder case of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Domki’s wife, DawnNews reported.
The three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, resumed hearing of the case on the law and order situation in Balochistan and a suo motu notice taken on murder of wife and daughter of Mir Bakhtiar Domki in Karachi on January 30.
The bench subsequently adjourned the hearing till March 22.
The apex court directed the IG Sindh Police to present an investigation report of the murder at the next hearing of the case.
During the early hours of Jan 31, armed assailants killed Domki’s wife Jhumar, 32, daughter Janna, 13, and their driver on a deserted street in Karachi.

The bench ordered the IG Balochistan Police to submit the investigative report in the case of the ‘missing’ lawyer from Quetta till March 22.
