I WANT to draw the attention of the National Accountability Bureau and FIA towards the negative role of recruitment agencies which are sending gullible youths to Europe via Iran, Turkey and Italy on fake documents.

They are eventually arrested, drowned in the sea or sent behind bars.

Sometimes they are deported with a feeling of guilt and insult. Most of the times these youths return with physical torture. They are badly tortured by the agents at different international borders for their adventurism. This makes them an additional burden on their poor families.

These sad incidents are often reported in the media. But such agents of recruitment agencies are so influential that no action has been taken against them so far.

It is correct that a large number of our youths, including skilled and unskilled, want to go abroad in search of better jobs.

The opted to go to other countries as there are no opportunities in Pakistan. They contact such recruitment agencies to turn their dreams into realities. But this adventurism often costs their life.

Our politicians and policymakers are equally responsible for this social issue. Unfortunately, our politicians and policymakers are concentrating on strengthening and prolonging their family politics by exploiting poor masses.

The government must start a variety of projects for employment in different sectors in each tehsil and district to accommodate our youths for a respectable earning.
