LAHORE, Mar 18: The Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) Lahore chapter has condemned India for initiating work on linking the Chenab River with Beas that would ultimately render Pakistan's agricultural lands barren.

Addressing a meeting here on Sunday, KBP President Rasheed Manhala said the project of linking the two rivers would be a major blow to Pakistan's water reservoirs as well as national economy.

He urged the government to take serious notice of the matter and approach the International Court of Justice. He also demanded of the government to check hike in prices of agriculture inputs. — APP
