PSB hires Iranian judo coach

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) acquired the services of Iranian Judo coach Sajjad Kazemi for a period of one year.

The official spokesman for the PSB Azam Dar said that the coach was hired after consulting the officials of the Pakistan Judo Federation. The official said that the PSB will bear the financial expenses of the coach and will pay him $1500 monthly salary.

The foreign coach will train the Pakistan judo teams for participation in the 12th South Asian Games, scheduled to be held in India as well as conduct the local coaches clinics.

Sajjad is likely to begin his assignment next month. The national training camp will also begin from March and 14 male and equal number of female players will appear in the camp which will be conducted by the Iranian coach.
