KARACHI, Feb 22: Opener Khurshid Alam smashed the first century of the third Haji Ashraf Inter-School T20 Cricket Tournament in the Fahim School’s 61-run victory over Beaconhouse “A” Level at RLCA Ground on Tuesday.
Promising right-handed batsman Khurshid hammered 14 boundaries and two sixes in his 106 off 58 balls as Fahim School piled up 215 for the loss of three wickets.
Beaconhouse, in reply were dismissed for 154. Medium pacer Ammar Ahmed claimed four wickets for 14 runs to bowl Karachi Public School to a four-wicket victory over BVS Parsi School.
In another match, BSS North Nazimabad outplayed Iqra Islamic School by ten wickets in a low-scoring match. Opener Subhan Ahmed cracked an unbeaten 32 off 19 balls with five boundaries.
