Pasban-i-Tauheed linked with targeted killings in Karachi

KARACHI: The alleged culprits involved in bombing the Rangers in Karachi, murder of Pakistan navy officer and target killings of the lawyers, have supposedly links with the organisation by the name of Pasban-i-Tauheed, DawnNews reported.

It is learned through a confessional statement issued through the websites by the name of "Ansarullah and Babul Islam."

These websites serve as the communication platforms between various terrorist and militant organisations such as al Qaeda, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al Shabab.

According to the statement, the bomb attacks on Rangers were in response to the killing of al Qaeda leader Moeed alias Abu Omar.

Intelligence agencies have started investigating the matters.
