ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher is due to arrive here on Monday as a special envoy of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

During his stay here, Mr Maher will meet President Gen Pervez Musharraf and hold deliberations with Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar on the recent regional developments.

According to Egyptian Embassy officials, Mr Maher will also hold discussions with Pakistani officials on the latest situation in Afghanistan. —APP
