PESHAWAR, Dec 1: Provincial information secretary of the National Awami Party Pakistan has said that until and unless the military generals stop their interference in the politics of the country, the country could never experience true democracy and stable political democratic government.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, Zar Ali Khan Musazai urged that the newly elected government should be given full time because they have brought the mandate of the people.
He said that the generals have depicted the politicians as most corrupt, and ineffective people. However, he added that these so-called corrupt and ineffective people have now again given the chance to govern the country.
He declared it a drama with the masses and said the generals themselves are responsible for the looting of the national exchequer as they used to encourage such corrupt people to come and loot the money of the people.
He further said that as long as these politicians follow the directives of the generals they are best people but as soon as they refuse to follow them they become corrupt and ineffective.
Zar Ali Khan demanded that let Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali led-government complete its tenure so that the country might lead towards a stable democratic regime like one we can see in the neighbouring country.—PPI
