MAMOZAI: Pakistani forces fired artillery shells at three militant hideouts in the Mamozai area of the northwestern Kurram tribal region near the Afghanistan border, killing 11 militants and wounding another 19, security officials said.

The death toll could not be independently verified and militants often dispute official accounts.

Meanwhile, a homemade bomb planted in a donkey cart exploded in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan, killing one person and wounding another, police officials said.
