KARACHI, Nov 30: Railway Minister Ghous Bakhsh Maher, who is also the president of the PML (Q) Sindh, has said a consensus government will be formed in Sindh.
Speaking at a gathering of party workers in the Muslim League House here on Saturday, he said he had been misquoted by some newspapers about the formation of government in Sindh and about remarks attributed to him relating to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Sindh National Alliance.
He said the PML (Q) would be reorganized at Towns level. Even after the elections, he would be available to party workers at the Muslim League House.
Mr Maher said it was unfortunate that the so many groups had emerged in the party ranks due to internal conspiracies. However, he added, that all efforts would be made to reorganize the party and bring forward devoted workers.
Liaquat jatoi: The Muslim League (Q), with the help of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, will form government in Sindh, said the federal minister of industry, commerce and production, Liaquat Jatoi, here on Saturday.
Talking to newsmen after an Iftar-dinner hosted by the Naib Nazim of the city government, Tariq Hasan, he said the government would redress the grievances of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and would bring them in the government.— APP/PPI
