KHAR, Jan 30: Sirajul Haq, naib amir of Jamaat-i-Islami, has said his party will oppose reopening of Nato supply line. He warned the government of laying siege to the Parliament House if it reopened the border points with Afghanistan.

He made the threat while addressing a public meeting in Dagi area of Salarzai tehsil on Monday. He said the JI would launch a countrywide protest if the parliament approved restoring Nato supplies. He said the government had failed to resolve people's problems, adding the masses were suffering due to bad governance. He criticised the government's foreign policy, saying it was framed at the behest of Americans.

Mr Haq said the military operation in tribal areas should be stopped forthwith, adding innocent people were being killed and their children were turning terrorists.—Correspondent
