CARDIFF, Nov 29: England’s world champion Peter Nicol extends his lead at the top of the new December Dunlop PSA Men’s World Rankings, announced Friday by the Professional Squash Association (PSA), thus completing a full year as world No1, says a press release.

Nicol, the London-based former Scot, first reached No1 in February 1998 — and has now accumulated a total of 43 months at the top.

A two-year period without any Pakistani representation in the world top twenty is ended this month by the arrival of Mansoor Zaman at a career-best world No18.

The 22-year-old from Peshawar, son of noted former British Open champion Qamar Zaman, has reached the semifinals of three PSA Tour events this year.
