ISLAMABAD: Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) Sabir Hussain resigned from his position on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

Sabir Hussain said that he was resigning from his position because senior Ogra employees failed to accept his orders, and instead had their own ways. He requested that his resignation be immediately accepted.

Sabir Hussain took the position after former chairman Tauqir Sadiq’s appointment was dismissed by the Supreme Court due to allegations of corruption and a fake degree.
