IN my opinion the tenure of the National Assembly should be four years instead of five because people suffer for a longer duration if the government fails to run the country, especially in our 'democracy' where there is no legal option to remove government.

Four years' tenure will prevent military intervention. This is right time to make a necessary amendment to the constitution in this regard as every party will support it this time.
