LONDON, Nov 17: England beat Romania 134-0 to set a national record victory at Twickenham Saturday.
Flyhalf Charlie Hodgson scored 44 points on his debut, also a national record. He hit the post with the final kick of the game, a conversion, to rob himself of the chance to break the world individual scoring record.
