LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday demanded for fresh elections and vowed to oppose any ‘new game’ by the government in National Assembly tomorrow, DawnNews reported.
Speaking to media representatives after a consultative meeting of the party in Raiwind, the PML-N chief said that the government was planning a new adventure rather than accepting the apex court’s NRO verdict.
Sharif vowed to start a coordination campaign to aware other political parties that trusting current rulers would be like distrusting the law and the constitution.
He further said that all state institutions should operate within their boundaries.
Sharif said that an important meeting of party’s central executive committee and parliamentary committee has been called in Islamabad on Thursday.
