BAD KLEINKIRCHHEIM (Austria), Jan 8: Swiss skier Fabienne Suter won the women’s super-G World Cup race as American superstar Lindsey Vonn recorded her worst result in over three years.

Suter came home ahead of Slovenian slalom specialist Tina Maze with Austrian Anna Fenninger filling third spot.

Vonn, the overall World Cup leader and winner of the previous two super-G races, finished outside the top 15 — over half a second off the pace — in what was her worst result since December 2008.—AFP
