ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Saturday promulgated the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Ordinance, 2001, to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.
The ordinance will come into force at once.
Through the amendment, a new section, 174-A, has been inserted in Act V of the code.—APP
