KARACHI, Nov 17: Two young men were found dead with torture marks on their bodies near a fruit farm in Ebrahim Hydery, Malir, on Saturday.
The police said that the dead men might have been kidnapped, tortured to death and later their bodies were dumped near a farm next to Chakra Goth.
It could not be known whether the dead men had any affiliation with any sectarian or political group. The police said that the dead men appeared to be Bengali speaking. The bodies were sent to a hospital for post-mortems where doctors confirmed torture marks all over the bodies of the dead men who were in their twenties.
The bodies have been kept in the Edhi’s morgue for identification.

The police said that armed men raided a hardware shop owned by Mohammed Iqbal in Korangi No 2 1/2, and snatched Rs3,000 from him. The bandits became panicky when Iqbal put up resistance to them. They opened fire on him and fled the scene. Iqbal suffered a bullet wound to his chest and died before he could be taken to hospital.
CARJACKING: Nine vehicles — three cars and six motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, the police said.
The cars were hijacked in districts East, South and Central.
Two motorcycles were hijacked in districts in South and East. Four others were stolen: two in district East and one each in districts Central and West.
