Syed Noor hospitalised after stroke

LAHORE, Dec 17: Film director Syed Noor suffered a mild stroke on Saturday and was admitted to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

According to Mr Noor’s close circles, he was having breakfast at his home around 11am when he suffered what was later diagnosed as ‘stroke in evolution’. He was rushed to hospital where he was now said to be stable.

Doctors privy to his treatment say Mr Noor would have to go through various medical tests and should remain at the hospital forsome days.

Sources close to Mr Noor told Dawn that due to the stroke his left side had been slightly affected.

Syed Noor came to Pakistan a week ago after staying for a month in Dubai where he was directing a co-production featuring Pakistani and Indian actors.

Film director Shehzad Rafique, Cinema Management Assocation chairman Qaiser Sanaullah and others from the film industry visited the ailing director at the hospital.
