The Fourth Alumni Collective, which opened on December 3, marks the 18th batch of graduates from the Indus Valley School for Art and Architecture, Karachi.

“The show is really a reunion and an art show all in one,” said Anbrin, the IVS gallery manger. “It’s organised by the Alumni association and the idea is to retain the bond between alumni and the institute.”

The exhibit showing at the IVS Gallery is called “Personal Revolution on an Individual Level”, consists of 49 artists, who according to the IVS Alumni Show Committee, have all attempted to “either extend beyond their comfort zones into the unknown, or simply let go of the daily trappings and limitations, to play with what recharges them.”

There were a total of 105 pieces that were displayed in an eclectic variety of mediums that included mix media on paper, posters, digital print, CDs and wire and 3D digital print.

The exhibition will be showing till December 31. - Text by Salman Haqqi/Dawn.com; Photos by Nadir Siddiqui/Dawn.com
