HAFIZABAD, Nov 22: Three members of a family were killed while another sustained serious injuries on Friday in an accident on the Gujranwala Road.

Aftab Ahmad, his brother Abdul Razzaq, Ishaq’s son Aftab, their cousins Irfan and Tahir Nazir were on their way to Hafizabad from Lahore by car (LOW-1103). Near Chehil Kalan, about 30 kms from here, their car in a bid to save a donkey cart, rammed into a roadside tree. As a result, Aftab and Razzaq died instantly while Irfan and Nazir received critical injuries. They were admitted to the local DHQ Hospital where Irfan died.
