LAHORE, Dec 12: An additional district and sessions judge on Monday issued a notice to the Defence-B station house officer on a petition seeking registration of a criminal case against actress Veena Malik for doing a ‘nude’ photo shoot for an Indian magazine with ‘ISI’ tattooed on her arm.

Advocate Chaudhry Ishtiaq said in his petition that the alleged act of the actress badly tarnished the image of Pakistan and Islamic values. He said the actress, who was known for creating controversies, also scandalised Pakistan top intelligence agency.

The judge issued notice to the SHO for Dec 19.

Meanwhile, Iqbal Town Police filed a report in another court about a similar petition.

The police pleaded the petitioner should file the case in India as neither the controversial photo shoot by Veena Malik was done in their jurisdiction nor the FHM magazine was printed here.

Hearing of the petition will be resumed on Dec 16.
