HYDERABAD, Nov 21: Under the directions of the Government of Sindh, special teams conducted raids throughout Hyderabad district the other day and chargesheeted traders and shopkeepers for overcharging.

The deputy district officer, city, Hyderabad, Dr Imtiaz Shaikh, accompanied by the administrator, Market Committee, Hyderabad, Shaukat Mastoi, the Mukhtiarkar (city), and police officials conducted surprise raids.

They checked the prices of fruits, vegetables, fish, and meat, and imposed on-the-spot fines.
