SWAT: MMA to make bodies on district level

SWAT, Nov 17: Secretary of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Sardar Ali said on Saturday the religious coalition had decided to form committees on district level to bridge the gap between public and elected members.

He told reporters that a meeting of the MMA held in Mingora reiterated that the party would keep its promises made with the public during the election campaign.

He said every effort would be made to solve the problems of people of Swat and Mingora.

The meeting was presided over by MNA-elect Qari Abdul Bais Siddiqui and attended by the MMA office-bearers from Swat.

Mr Ali said hospitals, roads, education and employment would be given priority.—APP
