RIYADH, Nov 16: At least seven elderly Asian and African pilgrims have died of exhaustion and heart troubles in Makkah, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

Okaz quoted medical sources saying the seven who died on Friday were aged between 75 and 83 years and were performing Umrah.

More than one million people attended prayers at the Baitullah on Friday.—AFP
