ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected government’s plea for more time over appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman, DawnNews reported.

The apex court ordered government a quick appointment for the vacant post.

The Additional Attorney General K.K. Agha challenged a similar verdict of the apex court earlier through a review petition.

The verdict was announced by the bench comprising of Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk and Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali.

Government can no longer appeal for more time in NAB chairman’s appointment case after today’s verdict.
