Karachi: 55 new dengue patients reported in Sindh; taking the tally of confirmed dengue patients in the province to 371 in the current year.

In-charge of Sindh Health Departments Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr. M. Shakeel Mullick informed PPI that currently 86 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals of the province.

He said so far five dengue patients have died in Karachi.

He said the deceased included a 60-year-old man who died at a private hospital on February 14, a 32- year-old woman who died at a private hospital on September 9, a 70-year-old man who died at a private hospital on September 15, a 6-year-old girl who died at Civil Hospital Karachi on September 18 and a 34-year-old women Farzana who died at a private hospital on September 24.
