The Nritaal Group held an exclusive showing of their first show, 'Khusrau-e-Nasl-e-Nau' on Thursday, 22 September 2011 at the Arts Council open air theatre.

The show consisted of dance, music, and poetry recital.

The music was composed by Ahsan Bari to the poetry of Ameer Khusrau. It was played by an ensemble that included both eastern and western instruments, as well as vocals and narration.

The accompanying dance performances were choreographed by Suhaee Abro, who performed along with dancers, Mohi, Sabiha and Aleem.

"With its latest performance, Nritaal is aspiring to acquaint the youth of Pakistan with Ameer Khusrau who is renowned for his immense contributions to South Asian classical poetry, with Urdu, Hindi and Persian being his main languages of expression."
