LAHORE, Sept 7: A writ petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court against the suspension of gas supply to CNG stations in Punjab for two and a half days.

Advocate Shahid Gillani has challenged the gas supply schedule, saying that Punjab is being discriminated against. He asked the court to direct the government to appoint a commission to make a gas distribution formula based on equality.

The petitioner also assailed appointments to Ogra and SNGPL that were allegedly made on political grounds and led to gas crisis.
