PESHAWAR: Pesco chief takes over

PESHAWAR, Nov 8: Brig Tahir Saeed Malik on Friday took the charge of  Peshawar Electricity Supply Corporation’s chief executive, relieving Brig  Khalid Khan, who has completed his four-year tenure.

A Pesco press release termed the posting routine. The new Pesco chief was briefed about different sections, their functions and problems in the organization. He said efforts would be made to ensure solution of the problems faced by the employees.

Brig Malik said he would contact the consumers soon to seek their cooperation.

He also called on Corps Commander Ali Mohammad Jan Orakzai and inspector-general of the NWFP police.
