Training for farmers

GUJRANWALA, Nov 15: The agriculture department has initiated the second phase training of landlords and farmers which would continue till Dec 31.

Speaking at a meeting here on Thursday, agriculture district officer Chaudhry Shaukat said lectures on awareness of modern methods and technics of farming would be given in 800 villages of the district.

He said trainees would be informed about the use of fertilizer, seed and modern agriculture machinery.

The training schedule had already been issued while Nazims, Naib Nazims and councillors of union councils would also participate in this programme, he added.
