SUKKUR, Nov 15: The Ghotki police arrested Azmat, Munna and Azim and seized three pistols, bullets and two motorcycles from their possession in a raid on a Daharki area on Thursday.

According to Daharki police sources, those arrested belonged to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and were involved in bike-jacking and other crimes.

Meanwhile, the Daharki police after a brief encounter, arrested a notorious dacoit, Bukhhal Shar, and seized a Kalashnikov and bullets from his possession.

On a tip-off that a notorious dacoit, Dildar Shar, was hiding in hideout in the area, the police raided the hideout.

Bukhhal Shar opened fire on the police, who returned the fire in which his accomplice was injured.

The Daharki police have arrested the dacoit and investigating.
