ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying to get Indian broadcaster to buy televising rights for next year’s bilateral series.
Ijaz Butt, the PCB Chairman, held a meeting with a leading broadcaster during his recent visit to India regarding the coverage rights of international matches hosted by Pakistan, the Times of India reported.
Butt met with Zee TV network officials as they are the majority stakeholders of the Dubai-based Taj Entertainment Network (TEN), which has a contract with the PCB until 2012.
The PCB has also already confirmed that its chief operating officer, Subhan Ahmad would be holding talks with BCCI officials over revival of bilateral ties and the dates for next year's series, which is part of the ICC future tour programme.
