SIALKOT, Nov 6: A man, abducted a week ago, was recovered dead from fields near Sunggarwali village (Satrah) in Daska tehsil on Wednesday.

Some unidentified men had forcibly taken away Shafaqat Ali, 32, from his village a week ago. His body was found from the fields near the village.

According to preliminary post mortem report, Shafaqat was tied up with ropes, severely tortured him with sticks and iron rods and later killed him by shooting in his head. Satrah police registered a case.
