SWABI, Nov 5: Leaders of Wapda employees’ unions on Tuesday demanded a judicial probe into the killing of three people, including a Wapda official, in the premises of the court of district and sessions judge on Oct 30.
Wapda employee Fida Mohammad was killed when the police retaliated against one Muzamil, who had shot dead an accused in their custody, Said Arab Khan. Muzamil also died.
Leaders of Wapda’s Pegham and Hydro unions told newsmen that the administration had failed to provide security to the people and the indifference of the law enforcement agencies had led to the killing.—Correspondent
