LAHORE, Aug 11: The Punjab government on Thursday transferred and posted some officials.

Officer on special duty (OSD) Furqan Bahadur Khan was posted as Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) director general. He will assume charge of the post on Aug 16, upon retirement of the existing officer Makeen Shahbaz.

Auqaf Additional Secretary Fazal Abbas was transferred and posted as director, Special Education, Punjab, Lahore, vice Muhammad Hanif Zaka who was posted in place of Mr Abbas.

Social Welfare Deputy Secretary Muhammad Iqbal Tabbasum was transferred and posted as deputy secretary Home.

The orders transferring Muhammad Zulqarnain, district support manager, PRSP, Sahiwal, under transfer to the S&GAD, and posting him as special judicial magistrate, Sialkot TMA, were cancelled. He was directed to report to the S&GAD.

Section Officer (Home) Muhammad Tariq Mahmood was transferred and posted as special judicial magistrate, Sialkot TMA, vice Ahad Dogar, SJM, Sialkot TMA, already transferred. Local Government Deputy Secretary Kaukab Nazir was promoted to BS-18, and was allowed to continue at her present place of posting.

Faisalabad Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Asif was promoted to BS-18, and was posted as district officer (human resource management), Faisalabad, against a vacant post.
