MIRPURKHAS, Nov 3: The district administration has warned against creation of artifical shortage of essential items during Ramazan.
This was said by the DCO, Mirpurkhas, Mohsin Qureshi, here on Sunday.
He said that action would be taken against the shopkeepers, who were found involved in hoarding and black- marketing.
Prices of commodities, he said, had been fixed after consultation with local businessmen and representatives of the traders.
He said that there was no shortage of consumer items in the market, adding that flour would be sold at Rs9 per kilogramme during Ramazan. The price was earlier announced by the flour mills, he added.
He also said that the market committee would organize Saturday Bazaars in each taluka headquarter during Ramazan.
