LAHORE, Aug 3: Two persons were killed in road accidents in separate incidents here on Wednesday.

Badami Bagh police said that Meraj Din was knocked down and killed by a wagon on Khokhar Road. He was crossing the road.

Ravi Road police said a pick-up hit and killed motorcyclist Muhammad Afzal (27) of Begum Kot near Batti Chowk. The driver fledthe scene after leaving behind his vehicle.

Police handed over the bodies to their respective families after necessary formalities.
