TIMERGARA, Nov 2: The superintendent of police, Dir lower, Sajid Ali Khan, has said the police force would be made true servant of the masses, and the hatred and fear which the people had in their mind against the force would be removed.

He was speaking at ‘Meet the Press’ programme at the district Nazim office here on Saturday.

The SP said that those police officials who were neglectful of their duty would be taken to task. An inquiry against an SHO of a police station in the district, who had been accused of using delaying tactics in filling cases, was already in progress and action would be taken against him if found guilty, he added.—APP
