NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 30: A seminar, Aurat Mela and a handicrafts exhibition were held here the other day under the aegis of the Citizens Action Committee for Women Rights.
Over 200 teachers, health workers, councillors and other women attended the programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizer, Abdul Shakoor Abbasi, said the programmes were arranged to create awareness among women regarding their rights.
He said such programmes would also be arranged in rural areas.
The DCO, Malik Mohammad Naeem, appreciated the efforts of the organizers.
Many stalls were installed at the exhibition which attracted the participants, particularly women.
A cultural show was also held.
Hepatitis-B: Hepatitis-B has claimed the lives of at least five teenagers in Fazal Mohammad village within the past few weeks.
The disease has killed Ali Akbar, 18, Asif Ali, 6, Rajab Ali, 18, Rafique Ahmed, 15, and Ghulam Abbas, 18.
The condition of Ghulam Murtaza, who has been admitted to the PMC Hospital, Nawabshah, is serious.
