ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Justice Munir A. Sheikh, the senior most Judge of the Supreme Court, was sworn in on Tuesday as acting chief justice in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court.

Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, the next senior most judge, administered the oath.

Justice Munir will act as chief justice during the period Chief Justice Shaikh Riaz Ahmad performs the functions of president.—APP
