KARACHI: Team Pakistan saw more medals coming their way on the third day of the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens, Greece, on Tuesday.

In the one-kilometre cycling time trial Sana Javed and Fajar Zaheer bagged silver medals while Pakistan’s Bocce team earned a bronze.Meanwhile, Pakistan beat Nigeria 34-7 in the men’s basketball event.

Pakistan is also playing qualifying rounds in badminton, football and athletics while the swimming and women’s basketball events got underway late on Tuesday.
