Attackers of PS identified: DIG

LARKANA, Nov 14: “We have succeeded in recovering 34 weapons out of 43 that were looted by criminals who had attacked Bugti colony police station in Kandkot of Jacobabad district”, said Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana Sardar Fayyaz Ahmed Khan Leghari here on Wednesday.

Talking to Dawn on Wednesday night the DIG police said that 13 weapons had already been recovered and these 21 had been recovered on Wednesday.

Two criminals identified as Serwar Khoso and Abdul Rehman Khoso have been arrested who had been involved in the crime he said adding that the rest of the criminals who had been identified would be netted in soon.

Police parties have gone after them after identification. The weapons so far recovered included 22 SMGs, eight Kalashnikovs, one machine gun, one sten gun, one double-barrel gun, one 7.62 Chinese rifle and one wireless set, the DIG said.

He said the Sindh-Balochistan border stretches over 100 kms and it was quite difficult to guard it.
